Christin & Dan got married with the backdrop of the Frederick hills at Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery. I’ve known Christin since high school, so being able to be a part of her and Dan’s day was extra special. Christin & Dan are each other’s perfect compliments. They are both sweet, sassy, playful, and easy- going. After being together for so many years, you could just tell their wedding was such a natural expression of a love that had been tested and true, and just so comfortable. One of the guests told me that they had already felt like they had been married for years.
Christin was dressed in the most romantic lace dress with a low back and scalloped edges at the end of her train. The girls complimented her perfectly in their blue Alfred Angelo dresses with the lush bouquets filled with hydrangeas and pops of color in the roses. The barn for the reception was set up with romantic layers of string lights and sweet accents of blue, burlap and lace throughout the space. You could just tell that so much had gone into planning the day, that all of the details were not only beautiful but also meaningful and created such a fun and welcoming environment for all the guests.
One of my favorite times of the day, was when we got to pull C&D aside at sunset to walk through the beautiful lavender fields and vineyard and get some extra portraits of the two of them together before the sun set over the hills and the party continued. Here are a few of my favorites from their celebration that I was so thankful to be invited to capture…
