It was a windy, but beautiful fall day for Joe & Jess at their Links at Gettysburg wedding. They decided to have their ceremony indoors by a cozy fireplace surrounded by their close family and friends. Their day was filled with meaningful moments that didn’t leave a dry eye in the room. Joe not only said vows and exchanged rings with his bride, Jess, but also to her daughter- giving her a necklace as a memento of their family combining.
They also surprised their mothers with a sweet rose dedication, and after the ceremony had a whiskey toast in remembrance and honor of Jess’ recently passed away father. Jess told me that they were hoping to continue the tradition with the same bottle at the future weddings of her sisters, which was so touching. The Links at Gettysburg provided a beautiful backdrop for their wedding day, and their team was some of the nicest I’ve worked with. Great Scott Productions had everyone on the dance floor by the end of the night, laughing and celebrating. It was such a special day to be invited to be a part of.
