Most of you that know me, know that while I love the light & stillness of mornings, I am certainly not  an early bird. But sometimes (almost always), waking up at sunrise for an engagement shoot is totally worth it.Westminster-Maryland-Engagement-Photographer_0094.jpg

Mariah & Reuben are one of my sweet 2015 wedding couples and by the time we took their engagement photos I felt like we were already good friends. They just have some of the kindest hearts, and their love for each other is so full of warmth & sweetness. For their session, they wanted to go back to a spot where they had one of their first dates before Mariah started teaching in another country. We walked and talked while they reminisced about how their friendship grew and love deepened for each other even as they were so far apart. They’re planning a small, intimate October wedding and I can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of their marriage with them this fall! Enjoy some of my favorites from their sweet woodland session at the Hashawa Environmental Center.
