Brittland Manor Summer Boho Wedding
Carleen + Chris Wedding Story
Brittland Manor at Brittland Estates was the perfect backdrop for Carleen & Chris’ romantic oyster themed wedding. Family and friends celebrated the whole weekend starting with a crab feast for the rehearsal, and guests staying in rooms on the 500+ acre estate to keep the party going long after the “I do’s”.
C&C opted for a first look to be able to have some quiet and relaxed time for portraits for just the two of them, and so that the bridal party and family could get right to the party and join the cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony. I loved watching Chris’ reaction to seeing Carleen for the first time alone, and then again walking down the aisle when she surprised him with a second gorgeous dress! Her second gown was the perfect fun and flirty compliment to her sweet and romantic first dress and was a fun surprise for everyone.
Elizabeth from East Made Event Company worked so hard to bring Carleen’s vision to life and knocked all of the details out of the park. Carleen put together so many amazing DIY details that it’s pretty impossible to pick a favorite, but I loved that she went for a cozy living room feel in a handmade photo backdrop and with her choice of a rustic mantelpiece for the ceremony decked out in gorgeous blooms and candles. And just wait until you see the beautiful oyster shell table runner she strung together for their head table! Everything was stunning and showed off both their personalities and that fun and laid back eastern shore vibe. Here are some of my favorites from this late summer wedding!
