Liriodendron Mansion Woodsy Wedding
Dan + Christine Wedding Story
Dan & Christine’s wedding was the perfect mix of elegance with the backdrop of the Liriodendron mansion and rustic with their tree and nature themes mixed in. With music being such a big part of their relationship, from how they met to surviving long distance while Christine went to Berklee College of Music, to Dan touring with his band and starting his own sound company- it was fun to see how they continued to weave music into their wedding day. There may have been the most tears and biggest smiles in the room when Dan’s band stopped playing for a minute and D&C came up to surprise their guests at the reception by singing a couple duets. The whole day was intimate, romantic, and so sweet and meaningful. <3
Probably my favorite part of their story has been centered around a trail and tree that’s held a lot of significance throughout their relationship. (See more from their story and engagement session here). Early on they would walk the trail together and found a tree to carve their initials in. Since then they’ve come back each year on their anniversary and have carved a new number into the tree. Since their wedding day was on their fifth anniversary, we trekked back to the trail together and I got to be there with them as they carved a 5 into the tree together in their wedding outfits, which was so special and fun to be a part of.
