Cinco De Mayo Celebration Wedding at HCC

Emily + Chris Wedding Story

Oh man, where do you even start with Emily & Chris?! These two are something special and after looking forward to their wedding day for so long, it definitely didn’t disappoint! You might be amazed at all the beautifully curated details, or the impressive DIY elements, or just the incredibly FUN party they through, but most of all everyone will remember their love. They will remember how incredibly personal and meaningful each part of the day was and how they filled the room with laughter and joy wherever they went.

And I mean, the details were gooooood friends. The majority of the day was just so classy and elegant. Emily & Chris hand wrote their personal vows on parchment paper that they read just in front of their wedding party and family before heading over to their Catholic ceremony. Emily surprised Chris with her wedding band that was engraved with her new last name across the band. There were tears and laughter as Emily read a sweet note to each of her bridesmaids about their relationship and thanking them for standing beside her. And oh the reception. Elizabeth from East Made Event Co., created a stunning scape inside Howard County Conservancy filled with hanging greenery and Edison lights, lots of stunning florals from Loblolly Farm and hand-made copper centerpieces from the bride and groom.

THEN at the end of the night, we celebrated Cinco De Mayo, and we celebrated it hard. There were delicious margaritas, a donut bar, a balloon with their wedding #CardyParty, a fun photo booth and the DJ rocking the dance floor all night. To top it off, Emily surprised Chris with a festive Piñata filled with candy, sombreros filled the dance floor, and E&C surprised their guests with a late night pizza delivery. This one was SUCH a blast and I was so thankful to be a part of this sweet celebration. <3
